The Fernwick WPI Gauge is designed to help you identify yarn weight by measuring the number of wraps within one inch. Wrap your yarn around the center opening, count the strands, and use the markings to determine your wraps per inch.

Made from solid metal with a softly brushed finish, it has a satisfying weight in the hand and smooth edges that won’t catch or snag your yarn. Recessed markings are built into the tool rather than printed on, so they’ll stay legible through years of use.
